Eligibility
Your eligibility will depend upon what type of funding is being applied for, whether loan, grant or crowd funding.
Business Loan
When it comes to eligibility, providers usually base their funding decision on two factors: your personal credit worthiness and the viability of your business, which is determined on the credibility of the business plan. However, the flexibility of our funders means you may still receive a loan despite past negative issues. CCJs, defaults or IVAs within the last 3 years will not be considered though. Crowd Funding
For crowd funding, the eligibility criteria will vary depending on the chosen platform. Generally, the criteria are based on the project you are looking to fund, the goals of the campaign and the estimated return on investment. You will need to present a clear and concise plan outlining the project, its goals and how the funds will be used to generate a return on investment.
Grant Funding
The UK government provides grants to UK based organisations to help fund projects and activities that are beneficial to the local community or wider society. These funds are granted provided the business or organisation meet the general criteria, demonstrate financial sustainability, capacity to deliver, evidence of support and good governance.
