Our services are ideal for individuals seeking start-up loans from the British Business Bank, either directly or through a Business Support Partner. We also cater to clients needing a robust business plan to secure funding from various other sources. Additionally, our business planning services are beneficial for companies that wish to start or change business direction, or gain clarity on strategic avenues for the business director or other stakeholders.
Payment Terms
Upon receiving initial client approval, we will send a payment request. Our dedicated team will begin crafting your business plan as soon as we confirm your payment. We will gather information about your business and will share drafts with you for final approval to ensure your expectations are met and the plan aligns with your specific requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Start up funding services, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old and a UK resident.
- Have a new business idea or an existing business operational for less than 36 months.
- Have the right to work within the UK.
- Must show three months of bank statements.
- Have a valid passport or driving licence for identity verification.
Please note that any County Court Judgments (CCJs), Defaults, or Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) recorded in the applicant’s name within the last 36 months will affect eligibility. Certain visa types and Debt Relief Orders (DROs) may also affect loan eligibility.
Repayment Terms
GLOBOLOCO Finance assists eligible applicants in securing loans by providing business plans and cash flow forecasts. Payment for these services is non-refundable, regardless of the loan application’s outcome. The primary loan facilitated with this service offers a repayment period ranging from 1 to 5 years, with an APR of 6%. Failure to meet loan repayments can negatively impact credit scores.
Amendments and Modifications
The business plan we create becomes your intellectual property, allowing you to use it to secure funding from other sources. Any amendments or modifications to the business plan or cash flow forecast must be mutually agreed upon between the client and GLOBOLOCO Finance, and payment for such amendments may be required.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute between GLOBOLOCO Finance and the client in relation to these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for any disputes.
Our Approach
Our priority is to provide our clients with excellent service, underpinned by quality and choice. Our service is shaped by listening to our customers’ needs and understanding what is important to them. We take responsibility for meeting the needs of our customers and always seek feedback to improve the quality of our service. We aim to treat our clients fairly and deliver high-quality services that meet their expectations throughout their relationship with us.
Sales to Businesses
Our services are exclusively for new or existing business owners and are not intended for consumers. Sales made B2B (our businesses selling to other businesses) are exempt from the Consumer Contracts (formerly Distance Selling) regulations, and these services are non-refundable. Refunds are not normally available for business services, but we may refund at our sole discretion in exceptional cases. In such cases, any refund will be calculated based on the time spent on the provision of these services. Additionally, a £25 administration fee will be charged.
Legal Responsibility
As far as legally possible, we exclude legal responsibility for the following:
- Any loss arising from the use of our service.
- Loss of income, profit, business, data, contracts, goodwill, or savings.
- All terms, warranties, or promises implied by law or by statutes.
Complaints Handling
We respond promptly to our customers’ and prospective customers’ questions and queries and address any issues or concerns promptly. All customer complaints are dealt with and escalated as appropriate, as required by us to meet our obligations to our customers. Details on how we handle these are outlined in our “Customer Complaints Procedure” policy document.
Senior management will pay attention to the outcomes of complaints, using them as an important source of intelligence about the health of our business and systems. We will investigate the root causes of complaints and obtain feedback from customers who have experienced our complaints process to improve the level of service provided. We will measure the length of time taken to resolve a complaint, the outcome, and how the outcome is communicated to ensure we are treating our customers fairly.
